This grouping includes destinations East of Madrid.

The Basque Country, in the north of Spain, offer extraordinary cuisine, unique culture, and modern cities. Bilbao is known for the Guggenheim Museum designed by Frank Gehry, and for having delicious pintxos, while San Sebastian offers a modern city and beautiful nature, with plenty of beaches including Playa Zurriola.

Valencia, the port city and third-largest city in Spain has a great contrast of ancient and modern, with remnants of its past, like the Llotja de la Seda alongside innovative buildings such as Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe. For those who simply want to relax under the sun near the shore, there is plenty to choose from, from Costa Brava in the north to La Manga, a peninsula in the region of Murcia. For picturesque villages with white sandy beaches where you can take a week-long break, head towards the Sitges area or the northeastern region of Girona. And for those seeking to find a vibrant nightlife where they can party until the sun comes up, Benidorm is the place to be.
