England is one of the most historically fascinating countries in the world. Two cities rich with cultural history and surrounded by natural beauty are Birmingham, in the Midlands, England’s second largest city, and Manchester, the ‘Heart of the North’. Both are great hubs to plan from, with well connected international airports. British charm is particularly visible in the gardens, countryside, and seaside. 

Scotland's hilly capital, Edinburgh is the UK's second most popular tourist destination. The Edinburgh Castle, Old Town and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are the cities jewels, while the Scottish countryside and lakes including Loch Ness, are equally attractive.

Wales is recognised for its beautiful mountainous regions of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, where one can take a boat trip along the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal that meanders through the countryside or the Llangollen Canal that crosses the English and Welsh borders.

Dublin is Ireland's capital and a great place to start an adventure into the country. The Brú na Bóinne, Skellig Michael, and Giant's Causeway are all World Heritage Sites worth seeing, as well as Galway on the west coast and Kilkenny, a medieval town in the southeast.
