The Philippines consists of over 7,600 islands situated between the South China and Philippine Seas. Manila, the densely populated tropical capital, has a unique history dating back to 3000 BC. Outside of the city are plenty of landscapes to explore, Mount Pinatubo is a volcano known for its spectacular crater lake, while Tagaytay is an agricultural city destination with good food and views of Taal Volcano Island, and the 'Holy Mountain' Mount Banahaw has hot springs and is great for mountain climbers. 

Cambodia is popular for the presence of the Angkor Wat ruins, a massive temple complex that was built during the Khmer Empire and remains largely intact today. Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville Province, the Koh Kong province and the Cardamom Mountains are all great destinations to look into.

Vietnam's capital Hanoi is best known for the marble mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, and Hoàn Kiếm Lake. Other top destinations include Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, which is full of French colonial landmarks, and the Mekong Delta, a maze of rivers and islands home to villages, rice paddies, ancient Khmer pagodas, and famed floating markets. While Phú Quốc Island, Nha Trang and Mũi Né are all great resort destinations.

Destinations in Laos include the ancient city of Luang Prabang, in the north, Pakse, on the Mekong River in the south, and the capital Vientiane, near the boarder to Thailand, which is famous for Pha That Luang Vientiane, a golden temple.

Myanmar is growing in popularity, with visitors exploring big cities Yangon, Mandalay, and the new capital Naypyitaw.
