AFRICA, could it be the next stop?

Africa is the oldest inhabited territory on Earth, with anthropologists discovering evidence that humanlike occupation could date back 7 million years.

Known for the desert landscape and free-roaming animals more commonly seen in Zoos, safaris are a popular reason to visit the continent. Some of the most beautiful savannas to cruise in a well-equipped 4x4 include Tanzania and Kenya, while more diverse landscapes in Uganda, Namibia, and Botswana are increasingly popular.

Out of the 55 sovereign states of Africa, city destinations include those in Morocco and Egypt admired for their histories and cultures, while the island of Madagascar is visited for its biodiversity and its beaches.

South Africa, located on the southern tip of the African continent is famous for its colonial history, big cities, and natural landscapes. Soweto Township in Johannesburg is a popular destination for those wishing to learn about the end of Apartheid and Nelson Mandela’s influence on South African politics. Further north is the Cradle of Humankind, an archaeological area where some of the earliest human skeletons have been discovered.

The largest city in the West Cape region is Cape Town, which juts out on a peninsula beneath Table Mountain. At the top of the mountain, travellers can take in spectacular views of the city. Visiting Robben Island, the prison that once held Nelson Mandela, is another popular activity for tourists.
